When we run a posting from FI-CA to CO-PA, SAP updates different tables in FI and CO. in CO-PA, it updates tables CE4A001 and CE4A001_ACCT + others (COBK and COEP).
CE4001 represents a kind of total table management.
To manage the “keys” for table CE4A001, we use the customizing transaction KEQ3.
In KEQ3, we should put most characteristics as “not used” (because if we put all characteristics as “costbased + account based relevant” on the right, it would mean that the total table CE4001 would have as many lines as line items tables).
But doing this, we have an issue in FI-CA during the posting from FI-CA to CO-PA (if we put all characteristics on the right, it works but we do not want to put all of them on the right as already explained).
We have already installed OSS notes number 1355814 & 1353232 in our system but it does not work.
Kindly let me know the alternates or the best possible way?
